About the Logistics Academy
Our training model is based on “real time” training in a fully functioning warehouse. Because of this, our trainees have the unique advantage of experiencing live situations in warehousing and logistics.

In order to have students get the most out of the curriculum, Strategix provides a forum that enables the trainers to build relationships of trust and get a feel for the trainee’s social skills. This social interaction is vital to our holistic training approach, and augments effective outcomes.

To imply someone is unresponsive is to ignore underlying factors i.e. social, self-image, and cultural barriers to name a few. To this end, Strategix has 2 trainers per class with differing specialist skills to accommodate to the needs of the individual.

Am I Eligible for Training?
Under the Governments Productivity Places Program, to be eligible for training you need to be:

> Referred by an Employment Service Provider (ESP).
> Currently looking for work.
> Must be able to provide current income statement from Centrelink
> An Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia

NB: NZ permanent residents must have moved to Australia prior to 2001 to qualify for funding.

Competency Based Training – Course Outline
Suitable candidates generally meet the competencies within 2 weeks of intensive training (80 hours) however, being competency based means a longer duration of training may be required relative to individual experience and learning capacity.

LF Forklift Training – The forklift training and licensing elements provide trainees with a running start into the Warehousing and Logistics industry, it also opens up many other job opportunities. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be eligible for a forklift licence.

Customer Service
We teach our trainees that everything we do ends up in front of the customer, therefore the quality of work we provide is vital to the success of a company and to be proud of where they work and what they do.

Safety
From housekeeping to pre operational checks, safety in the workplace is about consistency. Since we as individuals are a product of what we repeatedly do, excellence in any area is not an act, but a habit. Backed up with the knowledge and experience of our trainers, our safety units give trainees a good safety platform to build from when employment is attained.

Warehousing
Pick & Process, Receive & Store, Stock takes and more are learnt firsthand in a real working warehouse, this validates training effectiveness.
